Brunker Road Veterinary Centre remains open as an essential service.
On Monday 25th October 2021, we are introducing some changes to allow fully vaccinated clients to come inside our practice doors again. Until the 1st of December, we are subject to the 4 per square metre ruling, and only 1 vaccinated person per pet can enter.
When you call our reception on 49572269, you will be asked about your vaccination status and be guided regarding our new vaccinated or unvaccinated protocol and how it effects your entry, as per below:
Unvaccinated Clients:
For those of our clients that are not yet fully vaccinated, we will continue to operate without face to face contact.
Call our reception to order items, make appointments & general enquiries. If attending an appointment, please wait outside or in your vehicle and call 49572269 on arrival. We will ask you for your current contact mobile phone number. Please keep your phone on you and keep it turned on. Your vet will call you on your phone to discuss your pet’s health and concerns. Your vet will then advise you to come to our front door area for your pet’s admission with one of our nurses. Once your pet’s consultation is complete, your vet will discuss over the phone your pet’s healthcare. Masks are still encouraged near our front doors, and QR check-in is still required.
Fully Vaccinated Clients:
One adult per pet can enter our practice. Vaccinated clients do not have to call on arrival, you will be greeted at our door by one of our veterinary nurses, who will check both your vaccination status and your QR code check in, before welcoming you inside. Masks are mandatory inside our practice. Children under 12 can accompany one adult. We ask that you adhere to social distancing at all times.
Hospital Admissions of pets for both Vaccinated and Unvaccinated Clients:
Please wait outside or in your vehicle and call 49572269 on arrival. We will ask you for your current contact mobile phone number. Please keep your phone on you and keep it turned on. A nurse will call you and discuss your pet’s hospital / surgery. Our nurse will then advise you to come to our front door area for your pet’s admission. Our staff will keep you informed regarding your pet’s stay and progress and advise discharge instructions. Masks are still encouraged near our front doors, and QR check-in is still required.
