In Memory of Brandy

Brandy was my first dog at age 15, she became the pinnacle of transforming my world to be dog obsessed and then a multi dog house hold. We were told about BRV by a friend and it was really a turning point to supporting our dog ownership. Being a working kelpie I was definitely thrown into the deep end, but having her then gave me purpose to explore the dog avenues. Brandy’s m/c paper was labelled ‘cheeky’ prior to naming her and that really set the record. She was enthusiastic, playful, manipulative, smart and so stable in demeanor but noisy demanding play. She was really a great ambassador for the breed a few years in. She played in agility, competitive obedience and rally-o and really was the dog no one owned because she was so independent, like a cat she chose us and we loved her for that. We are so grateful for meeting Sharon during puppy preschool at BRV, and Paul for being such leaders in their profession and guiding a beautiful path for me as a pet owner right up until she told us she was ready. 15 years of love.
