Covid Update 8th November 2021

When you call our reception on 49572269, you will be asked about your Covid vaccination status and be guided regarding our vaccinated or unvaccinated protocol and how it effects your entry, as per below:

Unvaccinated Clients:

For those of our clients that are not yet fully vaccinated, we will continue to operate without face to face contact. We ask that unvaccinated clients call 49572269 to order or collect items, make appointments & general enquiries.

If attending with a pet, please wait outside or in your vehicle and call 49572269 on arrival. We will ask you for your current contact mobile phone number. Please keep your phone on you and keep it turned on. Your vet will call you on your phone to discuss your pet’s health and concerns. Your vet will then advise you to come to our front door area for your pet’s admission with one of our nurses. Once your pet’s consultation is complete, your vet will discuss over the phone your pet’s healthcare. Payment is made over the phone, and your pet returned to you outside.

Masks are still encouraged near our front doors, and QR check-in is still required.

Fully Vaccinated Clients:

One adult per pet can enter our practice. Vaccinated clients do not have to call on arrival, you can enter our reception area, where our staff will check both your vaccination status and your QR code check in. Masks are mandatory inside our practice. Children 12 and under can accompany one adult. We ask that you adhere to social distancing at all times.

Regardless of vaccination status:

If you are unwell, if you are awaiting Covid test results or you a close contact of a known Covid case, or have been to a listed Covid Exposure site, please postpone your appointment or have another person bring the pet. Please advise our staff so that we can help you.

Fantastic practice. Cannot recommend highly enough. Had all 3 of my dogs there at various times for various issues over the past 2 years, and every vet & vet nurse I've seen have been very knowledgeable, professional & caring. Would go so far as to say the best vet practice/hospital in Newcastle/Lake Mac regions.

I could not recommend Brunker Road Vets highly enough. From their vets to their nurses to their admin team - they are all excellent at their job, absolutely lovely to deal with and all genuinely love animals! We take our two dogs there and have only received exceptional care. Best vet in town.
